This morning's Ithaca Journal visits Karel Westerling's barn-to-house conversion in progress. Westerling has moved a barn 75 feet, and is working to create two four-bedroom homes inside of the space.
The Saltonstall Arts Colony is looking for resident artists in poetry, prose, photography, and the visual arts for summer 2006. (The colony is on Ellis Hollow Creek Road, and I visited one of their Open Studio Sundays last July.)
