Victorian Winter Festival today and tomorrow

The Village of Dryden Victorian Winter Festival will be held today and tomorrow in the Village of Dryden.

Here's a list of events for today:

Main Street Open Houses
3:00pm - 7:00pm. Get 75% of your flyer stamped to win prizes.
Victorian Christmas Craft Shoppes
3:00pm - 7:00pm. Look for gifts and explore the Candlelight Inn, 49 West Main Street
History House Open House
3:00pm - 7:00pm. New exhibits, refreshments, and more!
Southworth Library Open House
3:00pm - 7:00pm. Refreshments available.
Chestnut Roasting
3:00pm - 7:00pm. Back to Basics will be roasting chestnuts in Time Square.
Victorian Parlor Games
3:00pm - 7:00pm. At the Presbyterian Church.
Intergenerational Band & Choir
5:00pm - 6:00pm, I think at the Village Green.
Beyond Measure
5:30pm - 6:30pm, at George Bailey Insurance, 5 South Street.
Strolling Christmas Carolers
5:00pm - 7:00pm, in downtown Dryden
Dryden Brass Band and Boy Scout 24 Carols
6:30pm, Village Green.
Santa & Mrs. Claus, Tree Lighting
7:00pm, Village Green.

And for tomorrow:

Horse & Wagon History Tours
10:00am - 2:00pm. The Dryden Town Historical Society will explain the significance and happenings of the historic district during a guided tour by horse and cart. Loading will be at the municipal parking lot on George Street.
Santa's Secret Workshop
10:00am - 1:00pm, Dryden Middle School Cafeteria. The Dryden Elementary School PTA will have craft activities, inexpensive gifts, a book sale, raffles, a bake sale, the latest from Slinkey Slithertail, and a performance by Beyond Measure, plus Santa Claus.

10:00am - 2:00pm. Look for gifts and explore the Candlelight Inn, 49 West Main Street
Goodie bags for kids
10:00am to 5:00pm. McDonalds of Dryden will be handing out goodie bags.
Dentist Open House
10:00am - 1:00pm. Dr. Cynthia Elberty Family Dentistry, 1 Brooklyn Road, Freeville.
Free Concert
11:00am - Noon. The Senior Choir of Lifelong and the 4 Corners barbershop quartet will be having a free concert at Dryden Village Hall.
Firehouse Community Reception
2:00pm - 4:00pm. Neptune Hose Company will be having an open house, with activities for kids and prizes drawn by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Dr. Cynthia's Tooth Fairy Table will be there, along with the Dryden Police (free children's fingerprinting), a Southworth Library storytelling and activity table around "Barney the Christmas Train", childrens games and crafts, and refreshments, pizza, and food.

I reported on last year's event with a gallery of photos, and plan to do that again, but it's a lot more fun to attend than to read about it!
