I stopped by Town Hall today and picked up a draft copy of the proposed wind energy ordinance that board members will be discussing tonight, as well as Environmental Planner Dan Kwasnowski's summary of it.
I recommend reading the summary (142KB PDF or 203KB selectable PDF). The ordinance itself (699KB PDF or 918KB selectable PDF) is long and seems to require a copy of the Dryden Zoning Ordinances packet, which you can get at Town Hall, I think for $5.
In general, this looks like it fits the summary I posted earlier, but we'll see what comes up tonight. I'm guessing there will be a few rounds of review before the Town Board can vote on it. (I'm sorry to be posting it so late, right before the meeting.)
