Local Media Search

by David Makar
for Living in Dryden

In my last post, I mentioned that you could go to the Ithaca Journal's website (http://www.theithacajournal.com) and search for places. I even added a link for searching for Dryden.

Since then I've realized (duh!) that there are many more Dryden words that you could search for to find out how the Ithaca Journal is reporting on Dryden. Here are some more search links for you:

Dryden: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=dryden
Freeville: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=freeville
McLean: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=mclean
Varna: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=varna
Ellis Hollow: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=ellis+hollow
Bethel Grove: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=bethel+grove
Etna: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=etna
TC3: http://search.theithacajournal.com/sp?aff=100&keywords=tc3

Of course, if you are a blogger, or a web designer, you know you don't have to show the entire URL in the link. Here's a shortened blog add-in (just view source and copy) for putting this on you blog:
Ithaca Journal Search: Dryden | Freeville | McLean | Varna | Ellis Hollow | Bethel Grove | Etna | TC3

You might also be able to find Dryden news online by looking at the Tompkins Weekly website: http://www.tompkinsweekly.com/, which hosts the current and past issues online. Posted by david at June 7, 2007 1:19 PM in ,
