I'm happy to see that NYSEG is now seeking yet smaller rate increases for service, 1.3% this year and 2.3% the next two years for gas, and 2.1% in 2010 and 2.2% the next two years for electricity.
In county news, we'll have a Democratic primary for sheriff, though I haven't heard of any Republican candidates. Also, legislators seem to be sorting out record-keeping issues.
