The Town Board meeting last night lasted about an hour, most of it in executive session. At the end, they passed this resolution:
Resolution to Approve Memorandum of Understanding with Teamsters Local 317
Whereas, the Town of Dryden has bargained in good faith with Teamsters Local 317 and reached an understanding to amend the current agreement, which amendment provides for a substantial decrease in the cost of health insurance for employees of the Town of Dryden and a $1,000 bonus for employees covered under the bargaining unit, together with pay increases over a period of time,
Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that this Town Board hereby approves the memorandum of understanding between the Town of Dryden and Teamsters local 317, and the Supervisor is hereby authorized to execute the same, subject to review by the Town Attorney.
The section in italics was added over the course of the meeting. There was also a possible second resolution they held off bringing to a vote. Not a lot of detail here, and I need to find out quite what this actually means, but that's what happened, so far as I know right now.
