Dryden Town Board member Mary Ann Sumner reports on kids working through today's rain to build a willow hut, which will grow into a shelter at 4-H Acres.
Sumner also writes about event organizer Jessica Houle, who received the Cornell Public Service Robinson-Appel Humanitarian Award last week. The prize money from that will go into more programs building on the work Houle has done, now with other Cornell students, at Conger's Mobile Home Park. The Dryden Courier noted that work last summer, and it's great to hear that it continues.
