There's lots about Dairy Day in today's Journal, as Cathy Wakeman (who writes Dryden Town Talk) gives an overview of Saturday's event. The print version offers a more detailed schedule, but the two key pieces are the parade down Main Street at 9:30am and the events in Montgomery Park, between Lewis and Library Streets, which run from 10:00am to 3:00pm. There will be displays, a dunking booth, and all kinds of fun.
Briefly in Tompkins notes another upcoming event, the June 24th chicken barbecue at Varna United Methodist Church, which will include their 'famous' carrot salad.
