A two-day training exercise responding to an imaginary tornado that had touched down in the town of Dryden drew more than 50 people to the Holy Cross Parish - the shelter simulation site. Red Cross would like to thank the following people, organizations and companies for making this exercise a reality and helping us to keep our promise to help our neighbors in their time of need: Holy Cross Parish in particular; Anne Marie Brogan and Tom Stamp; Dryden Food Market and A-1 Pizzeria for supplying necessary food items; The Ithaca Journal and Cayuga Radio Group for their excellent coverage of this event and our amazing, multi-talented Red Cross volunteers - you all rock! And our very special community role players: Connie O'Brien, Kate Turner, Glen Downey, Maxine Nicholls, Dave Stotz, Richard Schaefer Amy Bonn, Maxwell Bonn, Nancy Fuhr Bonn, Fred Bonn, Mason Bonn, Logan Bonn and Rich Flavelle. Thank you all for participating in this very important and enlightening exercise.
