This morning's Journal reports on the general upward trend of school spending and taxes across the state.
In the print edition, Elia Kacapyr shows Tompkins County's economy doing well overall in March, thanks to strong home sales and less dramatic gains in employment and retail sales. He sees 400 more jobs in Tompkins County this March than last March. Air traffic climbed a bit in March but is still down from last year by 3.36%. Building permits are down but help wanted advertising is up.
