And another nature walk

It's what happens when a place has nature worth preserving and seeing!

The Finger Lakes Land Trust invites you to Butterflies and Bugs on Saturday, June 29 at 10:00 AM, a nature walk especially for families and children. Join Cornell entomology graduate student Heather Connelly at the Roy H Park Preserve (South Parking Area) in Dryden for an easy walk through varying habitats. Heather will help us find and identify the smaller creatures at this preserve. Children of all ages welcome and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Dress for the weather and don't forget water and snacks!

Directions: From Ithaca, take Rt. 13 north to Irish Settlement Rd., turn right and continue 1.5 miles past Hammond Hill Rd. The preserve parking area is on the left just past the southern end of Goodband Rd. This event will be happening at the SOUTH parking area, NOT the northern area, where the boardwalk is.

Talks and Treks is a series of guided walks led by volunteer naturalists to our region's natural areas that help educate youth and adults about the natural and cultural history of the Finger Lakes. The events are free and open to the public.

For more information visit our web site at www.fllt.org or call 607-275-9487. This event is free and open to the public and will go rain or shine.
