Home and Garden Show at Armory
The Tompkins Cortland Builders & Remodelers Association are holding their 17th Annual Home and Garden Show at the National Guard Armory on Hanshaw Road (map). The show is open today until 8:00pm, tomorrow from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Admission is $5.00, but the ticket is good for all three days.
I wandered around and found everything from solar powered roofing shingles to architectural salvage to kitchen appliances to landscaping to fences. Two of my favorite booths were from Dryden companies, and looked rather different than the usual booth.
